My science teacher was being mean one day as he yelled at one of the students who irritated him. He said that you can't be sorry for something you did on purpose, otherwise you would have never done it. If that's the case, I only have this to be sorry for.
I could say that I loved you enough
to be praying for your heart to heal,
I would be hoping just so badly that
that would actually have been true.
But sadly it isn't
and I thought I could
but the only heart I care for
is my own.
And that is what I am most sorry for.
